No I simply felt it was a message that was a valid response in both threads - and I was to busy to change it up much cos Im distracted by pre-update agogness.
Feel free to disagree/debate 
No arguement from me… though for accuracy, wikipedia I see suggests it is more the start of a celebration of all wars. 
Lincoln set national Thanksgiving by proclamation for the final Thursday in November, explicitly in celebration of the bounties that had continued to fall on the Union and for the military successes in the war.

Being an optimistic happy-go-lucky miserable argumentative bastard like me has its upsides, you know.
One of them is interpreting the fact that its 25 to 6 on a Thursday and no update yet as A Good Thing cos its that massive that it takes a good while to properly express the width depth and breadth of the work that has been done this last week.
Or someone lost the pendrive the update post was on and its all getting re-typed now…

I was in Athens a couple of years ago and Zeus and Cronos came out, just as the sun was setting … clear sky and close to a full moon… amazing evening.

Many years ago in a different life I used to lead naked-eye stargazing trips on a calm lake in Turkey.
One evening just as we arrived on the lake and the sun dipped below the horizon we were treated to Venus and Mercury together with a tiny sliver of the new moon - utterly magical.
Except it wasn’t - there were good scientific reasons for everything we saw - but it was still a very special sight. Very few people have ever seen Mercusy with the naked eye, its position so close to the sun makes it very difficult - but we were lucky that night. The incredibly slender New Moon was an added bonus right “in the frame”
Further bonus later that night, there was good gegenschein that showed off the New Moon beautifully.
