@riddim How much personal ID and rigamaroil does one have to go through at your exchange? And what’s it called? I may just buy some bitcoin there.
Get yourself a circle account and buy a couple bucks worth of BTC. Use a debit or credit card (no fees). Send those BTCs of too Poloniex and buy a few maids. It’s not that difficult. If you need some more guidance the community will help I’m sure.

Anyone can buy small amounts of MAID through Poloniex , all that is needed is a bit of Bitcoin , the smallest amount for a transaction is 15k satoshis , so even less than one MAID can be bought . People spend a hundred bucks on things that don’t rise in value , quite often so , and it would rather not be a bad idea to check out how far such an investment may go , $100 can become $1000 , $500 , $200 or $150 ; all quite possible , and certainly not a huge risk 
There are a ton of paid to click sites that pay in Bitcoin. Just a matter of how bad you want something.

since i’m in germany i just chose bitcoin.de for up to 2.500€ volume (all transactions together) you don’t need to ID yourself i think
i just checked 0,1 is the lowest volume there
but you’d probably need a european bank account for using it Oo
i’ve used bitcoin.de to buy btc , it’s one of the best sites , european bank account must be linked to the profile via a small transaction that is then used as verification code . there are also places where people can buy bitcoins through atm’s or via debit card , or via localbitcoin and meetups .
It would be cool if we could buy MAID straight with fiat money , debit card , and giftcard ( like or similar to prypto.com’s idea )

Also, I know the Team’s official plan (roadmap, verbiage: first called “rust-5” deliverables-remember those days?-, then “testnets 1-3”, and now “MVP”) is always changing,
But what is the plan? It sounded for a bit like the “MVP” is the next big step, which was meant to help MaidSafe get more investors, correct?
Will there be a development lull for a while after MVP, due to this? Or continued updates, and then SafeCoin, and then SAFE Network is officially launched to the mass-audience?

hmmmm - since there is a fork “use_safe_core_as_testing_client” in vaults ahead of the current vaults … i have my doubts the vaults really will be released with this update … :-\ …
of course would be awesome!!! i’d right away start dancing and singing! 
but the roadmap could come =) this fork seems way ahead of the current website and last changes seemed to be minor ones =)
