it lasted well. I wonder what killed it finally?
It’s still responding to join requests.
I tested my file and it still works.
Just do this: SN_CLI_QUERY_TIMEOUT=1000 safe cat safe://hy8ayqyyb1jiokniu9oou954rra7msjxxus9yg1zwytf3py4eh1xyt1ifch5y > Superfly_1972.mp4
Just got it - just over 10 mins download time
She is a her not an it!!
My wife asked me why we call ships her and I told her its because they are cold, hard, make our lives misery, are nothing but work but it dosent matter if they get old and rusty we still love them any way!!
And promptly got a slap for loving a ship lol
And I think we all have the same emotional attachment to the safe network!
especially her captain @dirvine he will never give up on his girl!!
The Great Helmsman
as Mao was known
Mao is that a kind of auto pilot that I can get on Ali baba?
You fall into a very Brit-centric mindset there, @aatonnomicc.
Maps that are produced in countries other than close to 0deg tend to have the capital of said country in the centre of the map.
I’ve seen this for my own eyes in Turkish and Australian classrooms. We are not alwys slightly to the left of top centre ![]()
Was going off topic previous post revised we can save that for the pub ![]()
Thankfully we will not need a map to find the pub.
More importantly is anyone still cat and put ing?
I’m away from the computer so relying on posts here on things are going?
still going strong on both.

" If you experience the CLI taking a long time to respond, you can try decreasing its timeout duration. This is controlled using the SN_CLI_QUERY_TIMEOUT environment variable. The units of this variable is in seconds. So for example, you may try export SN_CLI_QUERY_TIMEOUT=30 ."
Wonder can this be dynamic based on file size?
Nope. I tried several times but even with this Timeout, I can’t cat the file.

I just got Superfly.
I have tried to put a 606MB file many times, and every time I get:
Content may have been correctly stored on the network, but verification failed
Then when catting, I always get a file of 375 bytes. Increasing timeout didn’t help. I’m now trying to put a 300MB file. If that fails, I’ll try a very small one.
No problems putting a small file here.

When I start putting a large file, the CPU goes wild at first, but calms down after a few seconds, and the system monitor tells me it’s uploading around 2 MiB/s. We’ll see how it goes.
