the caffeinate command on MacOS keeps the system awake - I did use it myself to keep my laptop (closed - so monitor off) running on battery and not going to sleep to operate as a language model server while it wasn’t doing anything else on it (and shouldn’t waste energy to anything else because it was running on battery) while working on a 2nd machine
…i’ve not come across such a command on linux yet though (but ofc didn’t search deeply because there was no need for it yet)
Okay, perhaps my misunderstanding on Linux command but awesome to hear you confirm use of it working for you. I was using Amphetamine but I think it basically is just a GUI for the caffeinate and some other commands on macOS.
Only have two nodes on my laptop and my CPU is at 97%. Anyone else still having such high CPU with so little nodes?
Edit: Not sure what the deal was so I killed the, and restarted with just one node and all is well again.
Imagine having to do such things with node age.
