Mission Ctrl

I have posted a few screenshots of this little project of mine but figured a dedicated thread may be a useful place for anyone who tries it, please list issues which in turn will be very helpful to me

I expect no lack of issues, especially on Windows or MAC as I don’t have access to those so have done zero testing on there.
It would be really helpful if anyone on those systems can try it out and tell me where they run into problems.

MissionCtrl is really just me learning so don’t expect much.

It is a simple GUI that allows you to Upload, Download and create Archives.
(More to come in time)

Please keep your wallet balances at or below amounts that you don’t care to lose, the app is in early stages and lacks extensive testing, no guarantees are made with regards to potencial loss of funds.

Looks nice. Some questions, are there ways to make the app get all necessary dependencies when it installs and make an exe file to install the app with example a py to exe converter? These are points that I hope all people making apps thinks about, it needs to be easy to try, install and use.

Having to make all manual steps makes the barrier to try apps so much larger. Why the app needs to run in a virtual environment?

Just some questions that caught my mind, I know it is early just wanted to get these thoughts out. Great work, nice to see so many projects, keep on auper ant’ing.

I am looking through all the code and wow, massive amount of work you have put into the app so far.

Because my brain is fried from chronic fatigue, brain fog, headache and so on then I am not able to code any apps, which hurts.

Now with the Ai I can do some limited coding, would it be ok if I try a few things on the code with the help of Ai? I just had some thoughts that would be interesting to try.

Yes exe or appimage or bin will make it easier for users, everyone agrees there.

In time that will be good but producing a exe for Windows before it is tested to work on Windows is a fools errand.

A AppImage for Linux is potentially a option for now.

The new Stack Overflow, almost anyone who tells you they don’t use it are fibbing.

Great, there has been some hardcore voices against Ai so just want to make sure. All I know is that it works for me and have allowed me code things I would not have been able to without it. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: Nice that more people are on the same level regarding Ai.

Isn’t trying to code without AI like fighting Tyson Fury with one hand behind your back?

Its more like trying to date without Bumble.

(Remember how people lied about meeting online? )

I would be nowhere near as far as I am with this app in such short time without the help of my trusty otherworldly friends :robot:

I would also have had less girlfriends in my younger days :upside_down_face:

@TheSAMYK1981 The error that you received on Windows is resolved by using autonomi-client 0.4.1 but my app uses autonomi-client 0.3.61

When we get a new release this will hopefully be sorted.
Thanks for trying it out but for now Windows is a no go, it runs on 0.4.1 but that unfortunately does not work for me.
