I have read now a few times that you should not have eMAID on exchanges with the TGE taking place.
So what if you have them on Bitmart… would you lose control over them? Or would these not be changes to ANT until you have them in a private address?
@rusty.spork could we have an official statement or indication on what to do?
Technically you do not have direct control over them since they are on Bitmart’s own wallets. You are trusting bitmart to return the eMAID if you ask.
Unless bitmart give a iron clad official statement that they will credit your account with ANT at TGE then if you do not get the eMAID into a wallet you own the private keys for, then you give bitmart your ANT. eMAID after TGE will be worthless except for keep’s sake.
The official instructions will be given out in an announcement and Rusty has already said he cannot say anything more till legal has signed off on the directions.
But it’d be smart to get your eMAID ASAP into a wallet you control and own the private keys for. Don’t be caught with potential holdups in the withdrawal from bitmart that causes you to not get the ANT you deserve
The rule is Not you private keys, not your crypto.

Let’s say that I don’t undertake this process in thr next 6 months, will I be unable to after that?
For those doing this, will they need to do so again when there is a native currency?
Once the eMAID snapshot is done eMAID is no longer worth anything for the purpose of getting network token, be it ERC20 token or the future native token.
Snapshot of eMAID means they get the quantities from the snapshot and then thats it, doesn’t matter what eMAID does it is meaningless to the project.
The airdrop for eMAID holders will be made to their ETH address and done there and then, no opportunity to withhold till native
OMNI MAID is following a different process using burn, so what you described can be done for holders of OMNI MAID.
When Native token appears there will be a 1:1 exchange of the ERC20 token to native by some process. That will be decided in the future. Maybe they could even use the ERC20 as the on/off ramp but no clue how.

Is there an instruction on how to safety transfer an eMaid from a Bitmart account to a MetaMask wallet? I’m asking for complete clarity, as it’s not worth risking a mistake of some kind. By when is it ultimately necessary to transfer the eMaid to the wallet in Arbitrum?
Get your meta mask address and send it there.
Send 1 emaid to your meta mask and then back to your bitmart address to test your set up and familiarise yourself with the process.

eMAIDs are on ethereum, DO NOT send them to Arbitrum! The new token will be sent to you on the Arbitrum network automatically if you hold eMAID on Ethereum.

Just so that we understand each other correctly, the MetaMask wallet running on the computer for the purpose of testing the current network, is a wallet on Ethereum and to this wallet should be sent an eMaid from Bitmart, do I understand correctly?
When setting up the MetaMask wallet, I selected according to the blockchain instructions of the Arbiturum Sepolia test environment and this is what I meant, while this is why I asked if there is any instruction to send an eMaid from an account in Bitmart to the MetaMask wallet? Is it necessary to select the Ethereum Mainnet there? Or is it enough to enter your address in your MM wallet? I ask this because I haven’t sent anything from Bitmart so far.
There’s no way it’s going to be a problem on your end. You have the same address for all networks in your MetaMask, but if the exchange allows you to send eMAID to the Arbitrum network, you will lose your money, because eMAID only exists in the ethereum network.
I haven’t checked if Bitmart allow it, if they have done the job well you will only be able to send eMAID on the Ethereum network to your address.

Nothing to do right now. Instructions will be given when the team is ready in regards to turning your MAID into ANT.
