Can the @maidsafe company donate the SafeNetwork.tech site template to the Community, so if someone wants to make a local copy in their language they do it?
So it will not take away resources of the company for translation and maintenance?

It has a MIT license so I think it’s ok you take it and publish it anywhere, @nicklambert is this correct?
Yes, that is correct @bochaco.

Can’t find where I saw it now but did one of the updates not say that the website is undergoing an update?
If so may be better to hold off on translating.
I need help copying GitHub - maidsafe/safenetwork.tech on my hosting to make a local bulgarian translated copy. Does anyone understand enough to help me?
You’ll need to become familiar with how a React site works, it’s not traditional static HTML site I’m afraid. Hopefully someone can help out.
Also, depending on the specifics translation, and how the length of the text adapts, it may break some layouts… and there are typically eight layouts per-page to adapt to different viewports you’d need to keep an eye on. You might get lucky though!
Also, another thing that occurs to me is that neither of the brand fonts we use have Cyrillic characters, so you’d need to find suitable replacements (others further down the font stack might work though) but that might also break layouts and components too.
Bit of a headache!
I did some translations in POEditor and you can set there max. lenght for each text. If is somebody familiar with setting this, it will help to have more than just Bulgarian copy. The same we could try to have for SafeNetwork primer.
Or Monero use Taiga for local localizations.
If no one in the community can help maybe we (or I) can hire a freelancer. Does anyone know a good site with freelancers?
I suggest you reproduce it as a GitHub site rather than trying to host it on your own site, at least at first. The Primer (also created with React but not nearly as complex as safenetwork.tech) is hosted on GitHub with Netlify, which allows you to edit individual files without having to rebuild the React app each time. @frabrunelle may be able to advise.
SN.tech is also Netlify based
@Miguelo helped me with the initial tests and looks very good:
