@erick will present Lecture 2 again, but this time in French.

A few people told us at the end of the last event that it would have been easier for them to understand the lecture if it had been presented in French. We think it’s a good idea. If this event is successful, it’s likely we will do more events in French in the future.

This is the last event with Erick before he leaves for Europe until the end of April. We will continue producing lectures in the form of screencasts in the meantime.

Speaker

Erick Lavoie is a Ph.D student in computer science at McGill University. He is currently interested in leveraging end-user computational resources, in the form of storage, bandwidth, and computational power to solve important scientific and engineering problems. Concretely, he is building a peer-to-peer infrastructure using web technologies for running distributed MATLAB code.
