Important Update on Leaderboard for Phase 2, Week 2
Hey everyone,
We wanted to provide an important update regarding the recent network crash over the weekend and how it affects the leaderboard and token distribution. As many of you know, the network went down earlier this week, which interrupted snapshots and created discrepancies between earnings reported by the launchpad and our auditor.
Key Details:
- Network Crash: Due to the network crash, all earnings calculations will be stopped at the point of the crash, basing caculations on all the auditable data we have. This means any earnings (nanos) gained after the crash will not be counted.
- Post-Crash Auditor Reliability: The network crash caused the auditor to go down as well. To ensure fairness, we will calculate earnings based on the last reliable data recorded before the crash. This means any earnings (nanos) gained after the crash may not be included in the leaderboard calculations. After the crash, nano earnings became highly volatile—some users saw unexpectedly high earnings while others recorded none. For this reason, we are basing the calculations only on recorded, auditable data to ensure fairness for everyone.
