Join the fun and help test Davids new connection quick test.

hey folks I wonder if you can help me run a small test

it should allow you to download a small test binary and run it.

All being well you should see some outbound and inbound connections (depends who else is also connected at the time). There is also a MASQUE relay which we can use to mask source IP addresses (but this requires much more Engineering as it’s wise to not hide service providers IP addresses to allow us to GEO separate them, but that’s for another day) It’s disabled in this test

It allows us to test quite a lot

Full post quantum TLS

Native quic nat traversalip4/6 dual scoped connectionsPlus quite a bit more (ant-quic - Quantum-Safe P2P Network) , I feel we are close to a definitive answer here, let’s see.

NOTE: this is a test binary on the quic library, it’s not meant as a fully polished app in ANY way shape or form, it’s data collection on networking connectivity only, so think quick dirty app to test networking, not an app for folk to use.

I really appreciate any help here and we may need to do this a couple of times over the next few weeks, but it is more than worthwhile. Don’t worry about some connections that report a fail, if there is a connect at all it’s a pass, even though we may fail a nat or ip6 or whatever on screen, that just extra info for me at this point, but it’s looking good. I just need lots of differnt configuraitons and connections to see what happens here.

Thanks for the testing folks, that is plenty of input for now and it’s all good news so far. Nice one
