Another option which I would do whatever I can to help someone build would be a web app using the AutonomiDweb App which is a very easy to use way of going directly to the network.
If you have tried Friends, you’ll already have some idea but since I made the simple GUI app it is much easier (than using the dweb command line - although that has been simplified).
One of the benefits of this will be that once you are using AutonomiDweb App for Friends (or any other app that stores data) you are already set up for any other web app on Dweb. One wallet for all!
Both anttp.antsnest.site and its similar anttp.anttp.site are temporary proxies to show off the network - in the long run we do not really want proxies, folks should be using the “seamless” apps that will come along.
Regard them as temporary kludges for now. Which is not to say that we might not need hundreds of them to share the load if the marketing goes well.
It’s just a json file and the contents of that file are just above in my top post in the topic, containing the call of the wild parts. So if someone wanted it they can just upload that as a .json file and it should work
I will definitely re-upload the files once the team releases the new version of Dave that uploads only the missing data chunks. I also want to thank you again for the great work you’re doing. I’m sure that when the token price recovers, many people will appreciate your efforts even more and they will show their gratitude.
As @tobbetj said, your work is very helpful for those of us who don’t want to wait for the small MaidSafe team to do all the marketing alone — at the very least, we can “annoy” our friends by sharing playlists with music from Autonomi.
We all have ideas about how things should be done, and the fact that the team has its own plans shouldn’t stop us from trying to help in any way we can. Autonomi is still unique in its technology and vision, and it gives hope that things can be done in a better way for ordinary people.
No single drop thinks it creates the flood, but everything around us is built from countless small drops — small actions, small pieces of human life — and we can never know which action will tip the balance in the bigger picture.
Sometimes, when I break the Discord positivity rules and my messages gets removed in the MaidSafe channel, my ego pushes me to step back for a moment. But then I remember that one day I won’t be here, and what we’re doing now has the chance to outlive us and improve many lives long after we’re gone.
