Please keep this thread for introductions only.
Hello All, I’m Colin Macleod, a Scot currently exiled in London.
I’m now retired, before that I did software development for finance and telecoms, also some sysadmin. I’ve been programming since the days of punched cards and paper tape. I’m an enthusiast for Tcl (the Tool Command Language).
I’m keen on the idea of liberating the internet from greedy corporations and crackpot billionaires. I’m running 20 antnodes on a PC I found dumped beside the bins of the flats where I live. The same machine also hosts my little website with various odds and ends: https://cmacleod.me.uk/ .
I’m thinking I might try to get into Autonomi application development, although I have a queue of other projects in mind as well
Hello, I’m Daniel.
I’m a software developer with over 23 years of experience, based in Brazil. I was part of this community back when it was still known as the SAFE Network, and now that Autonomi is live, I’m excited to return and be part of it once again.
In the past, I developed a few tools for the SAFE Network, including:
- safe-vfs: A portable, mountable drive for the SAFE Network.
- ruby-safenet: A simple SAFE API wrapper written in Ruby.
I’m looking forward to contributing again and reconnecting with everyone here!
Hi, my name is Roberto.
I am an italian software developer. I’m interested in crypto and I’m already renting storage with another application.
I’ve heard about Autonomi just yesterday and I’ve already started my node! It seems a very interesting project.
Maybe I’ll open another post to ask for help because I would like confirmation that I have set up things correctly! =D
Hey, I’m Sky. I’m here chasing the same thing I once found in the early web: freedom, weirdness, and the thrill of open digital frontiers. Back then, the net felt like a lawless playground for ideas—wild, untamed, and full of possibility. That’s what I hope Autonomy can become. I’m not big on rules, love a good hack, and believe the best things happen off the beaten path. Let’s build something strange and free.
