Inkrypt vs safenet

I was made aware today of a project called Inkryp, which directly compares itself to Maidsafe (modulo the classic confusion of company vs product): Technical Docs | Inkrypt | inkrypt.io

Anyone know about that and/or have opinions about it?

Am I correct that there is not (yet) open source code available for this project?

I am new to it myself - I was told that it somehow relates to https://1m5.io/ which does have lots of code (almost exclusively written in Java). Perhaps Inkrypt runs an instance of 1m5?
