IF Winners

@rusty.spork can the team officially confirm which projects have been successfully launched and their backers will receive a share of the 1.5 million ANT?

Well, one obvious solution (that many people have pointed out for years) is to actually take the steps necessary to stand up healthy token economics. That way the price appreciation of the token itself would support app development without heavy handed allocation of support from a centralized entity.

If this is true, then it’s music to my ears.

Maybe for you but not for me. It’s the approach and its effects (as I describe) that I dislike.

I think many of us agree that the IF format could be tweaked for IF2, but maybe we should celebrate the wins at this time, rather than dwell on the negatives?

There is plenty of time to prepare for IF2, where the community can give feedback.

Lots of folks did great work and I’m sure we have a bunch of apps now that wouldn’t have existed otherwise. This is a good thing! Can’t we just enjoy the moment for once?

No that’s not correct, but the Foundation has another very capable Swiss member!

Who are the members of the foundation or is that private?

All very easily googleable

Thanks for the correction Jim! And can I get information about the apps that have been successfully completed? I was specifically asked by a person who supported REGRU.

Okay, here are the apps and projects that were deemed by the judges to have successfully deployed on main net and fulfil the criteria:

Friends, Colony, IMIM, Autonomi Browser Extension, Autonomi Community Token, Ryyn, Mutant, Queeni AI Assistant.

Just to reiterate, though there were some really valiant efforts from other projects some really big ambition and amazing work done so it’s not to take away from their effort and striving for some really big missions. But the criteria was that the application should be deployed to the main and usable by end users for the deadline.

But I really want to thank and congratulate every project that made this first season of impossible features happen and the time and attention and dedication everyone was laudable. So thank you all.

I was really impressed with the winners and what they have built. Congrats to all of them!

I’m looking forward to trying out the Friends app, which is one of the most important kind of apps for me.

It was really great to learn that you guys like Colony, etc have the experience and wisdom to know what standards and other layers that need to be built for Autonomi to become a successful network that is easy to build on. Amazing work, and thank you for the work you have put in.

It does seem there were a lot of other great projects that missed out which is unfortunate, but I can see lots of great value in them, so I hope they keep working on them and get some rewards in the future. I suppose the more value in the network there is, the more valuable the token should end up being. Hopefully the early adopters and builders get rewarded in that way at least, just like the early Bitcoiners, which creates a nice feedback loop of more capital for passionate devs to have time and money to build greatness.

I’m looking forward to seeing what IF2 will produce.

Keep up the amazing work everyone!

Totally agree. Hopefully it comes and we see that feedback loop into the eco-system.

If you used meta mask try updating it.

Did you check on Eth network, not Arb network?

I’m actually checking on arbiscan, cause don’t have access to my metamask atm

Check etherscan

Right that explains, thanks @rusty.spork !

I was expecting more, but I suppose it’s hard to calculate the reward, and it probably makes sense…in any case, happy to have provided support to the developers!
