Error in running alpha 2

I’m tring to run the browser with alpha2 network. I get an error “Core error: Unexpected: Could not connect to the SAFE Network” My firewall is open to the browser app (in and out). Where am I going wrong?

First thing to check: is your IP whitelisted on alpha2? invite.maidsafe.net ?

Thanks - that worked. One other question… If I registered under one IP, can I use a different one later? I use a VPN, so the IP changes frequently.

Yes, just go back to that same page and reset the IP.
