Have tried to transfer eMaid to burn for Ant token swap using etherscan as instructed from a Metamask wallet and a Coinbase wallet. Metamask wallet doesn’t connect. The Coinbase does but doesn’t continue after entering the token amount plus 18 zeros. Is there a minimum amount required? I was trying to send 10 to see if it was safe? I had done the transfer a while back using the Coinbase wallet and it worked, has something changed that’s stopping the burn now? This process must be a nightmare to most people who aren’t accustomed to dealing in such things as different wallets, etherscans and arbitrum networks etc etc before they can again take custody of their investment from years ago. It must be mind boggling for most of them, eh? It’s almost as difficult as using this forum.
As per my experience dealing with these “Defi wallets” I get the feeling they are still in a “beta” version, that said, have you tried “force closing” the coinbase wallet on you smartphone and trying again?
Tried everything. I think giving up is the only solution. Personally I don’t give a sh*t that it doesn’t work as I sold all my MAID last year. I was trying to do this for a friend. There must be lot’s of friends out there who are stuck in this nonsense of exchanging their original investment into something as complex as this. And then there’s the Arbitrum step to solve after this…who came up with this nonsense as being a good idea?
I don’t know what to tell you, I’ve done it many times with Trust wallet. Maybe you should try it.
It worked for me with clear instructions.
Maybe try a different computer or browser or something.
Rusty Spork should be able to help you through it as well as he’s done a lot of troubleshooting on this process.
I think etherscan is the problem.
