AUTONOMI Token - Price & Trading topic

I hope something is shown (e.g. testnet) within a few weeks, but it just will take how long it takes. Bux’ update tomorrow should give more insight to progress.

I expect the token price will respond well if the early Autonomi 2.0 testnets & launches look promising, and vice versa.

If the launch process brings in new audiences then it token demand could start to increase significantly, though given marketing isn’t the focus of this stage, perhaps that’s unlikely. I’m not expecting huge price increases until there’s a solid network with genuinely useful apps, an emerging app ecosystem + marketing. Hopefully we’ll get there in time though.

I read that Moltbook (a social network for AI agents), has just been bought by Meta:

Of course Autonomi wouldn’t want to be associated with a company like Meta, but it shows the scale of interest in this pioneering space that Autonomi 2.0 is seeking to grow into / shape.

The Autonomi 2.0 x0x and Trusted Data Layer stuff with all the agent-agent communication & coordination seems very relevant to this area… if it starts getting some traction and attention later in the year, it could be a good thing for demand & potentially token price.

0.08. Still not quite confident selling whatever I have left.

I reckon 60 to 70 cent ,and 10 dollars by year end

I’d love to see $0.50 and above, but don’t expect that’s likely, given the large supply in the hands of shareholders, some of who may want to sell far below that.

Anything is possible, but to expect that much momentum in such a short time seems overly optimistic IMO… 6 months perhaps, but 7 days for over 5x?

I have no idea, but assuming all goes well with the launch & the community gets a bit fired up, I think we could see $0.15 in 7 days, which would still be pretty cool. Let’s see

Anything is possible with a crypto guys ,filecoin wentt from a few cents to 150 dollars,in a few months ,and several otheres

Oof, that would be nice

At ~50% tokens circulating, that would put the market cap at around $6bn, which would be just sneaking back into the top 20 crypto assets; similar to LINK or Monero, and if Autonomi delivers there’s a good chance the network could deliver more value than those in time.

Not impossible if there’s a thriving new ecosystem developing, both human & agents, with loads of promising applications becoming clear. I wouldn’t say it’s likely, but it’s not impossible and would be awesome if the product gets to the point where that’s feasible within the next 8 months or so… the world certainly needs a new, decentralised, non-predatory internet.

Wow, been a minute since I checked in.

Are we still using the ETH network or did we move to our own full blown token?

We remain on Arbitrum (L2 of ETH) and will remain there for the foreseeable future.

How forseeable, is forseeable? Like 1 year or 5+ years?

Actual question: is it still the intention to run this on the Autonomi network?

Is it possible we develop a native token in the future? Yes. Is it possible we never develop it? Yes. Its not on the roadmap or something we are concerned about at the moment, we are prioritizing other things we deem more critical.

If an agent can do p2p or a2a i guess swaps, or dex like swaps.

And fees are actually free, will it matter that much?

So this teaches us, to not steal and launder through arb.

That’s not an issue to me personally.

No, this teaches us that Arbitrum isn’t decentralized and has a central controller.

The reason Iran chose bitcoin to accept the toll to pass through the Strait is because Bitcoin is neutral, and does not have a central controller. If they had accepted any other digtal or fiat currency there was always a risk it would be confiscated.

For Autonomi to become truly decentralized it has to be totally neutral. It cannot pick sides, if it does it will be no better than the current internet we have.

If an organization like Wikileaks were to use Autonomi and had to rely on ANT for donations which was on a centralized system like ARB, then it would be open to risks of losing the funds as the corrupt system it is fighting pushes back. Which is no different than the banking system we have now.

When you introduce a central controller you are then operating in a trust based system. You have to trust they won’t take your funds. We have to eventually move to a trustless currency. Only Bitcoin and lightening network fits that right now. Even Ethereum layer 1 has been known to roll back the blockchain. I have little doubt in my mind that Vitalik isn’t compromised. He’s the easiest guy to compromise. Just look at what Epstein was trying to do with Bitcoin devs in the early days. His job was to compromise powerful systems for the elite. There will be many like him.

I’m okay with Autonomi using ARB or the like until the network is running well and with no chance of another reboot like we’ve just seen. It makes sense. But there is no way it is the final solution unless ARB becomes neutral and decentralized.

The lightening network is currently the most decentralization and fastest payment network we have. Yes it doesn’t have an easy way to create tokens on it or move your token to your own offline wallet, but there is work ongoing with that. I actually think there is an opportunity for Autonomi once the network is stable and working well to move to lightening and potentially solve the issue of how to move funds to your own wallet. If Autonomi did that it would see massive adoption by the bitcoin users.

E-cash is also worth looking into which is another layer above lightening being used by Fedi. This brings more privacy.
