My sincere gratitude and encouragement to the whole Autonomi team. The work in carrying research through to product is tremendous. There are indeed bumps in the road, but you’re making it happen and that’s what matters.
I deeply appreciate and admire the dedication of the entire Autonomi team. Turning research into a product is a tremendous effort. There may be challenges along the way, but you’re making it happen, and that’s what truly counts.
I want to echo what Dimitar said: turning a big idea into a functioning reality is really, really hard. Difficult choices need to be made, challenges overcome, and tremendous work put in. I’m sure much more than anyone outside the team can truly comprehend. The Autonomi team’s dedication has got us to a place many didn’t think possible. Way to go and keep at it!
Thank you to all the team, past & present, for the dedication and efforts that you all have put into the project and bringing the network into existence.
And especially to @dirvine for pushing forth his concept into a working network. So often you could have turned to other things, but continued.
LOL - please don’t
I really sometimes worry they will one day say: F… THIS and walk away
so here is to Autonomi thank you for rescuing the internet and for coming through on everything you promised. I received my airdrop in full, the process was easy and well described.
also: happy anniversary @Bux - it must be about a year now since you joined? I think we can all agree it has been quite THE year
Much appreciation for what has been achieved and thank you for sticking to it all these years.
We have a network. It’s been challenging to show people what I see here and have been thrown out of conversations for my ‘meme coin’. With this network, node software, and coin I now have a bigger stick to beat it in to people.
When they do get it I hear tremendous and notable excitement from the people they go on to pass on and explain what you guys are delivering. I think there are many now silently watching
your historic and extremely important work.
The entire team past and present are the real Mission imPossible Team and I don’t think movie script writers could have written the story you have all battled through.
Many thanks and congratulations to all of the Autonomi Network contributors over the years for your amazing efforts. It’s all ultimately for the benefit of all of our futures! The potential scale of future impacts, value propositions and whole new economic opportunities that this network of networks will contribute as a public commons is difficult to fathom. Not to mention the panopticon effect it will hopefully have on traditional organised crime, systemic abuse of authority etc, limiting their ability to continue operating given the ability for anyone now to be able to safely and anonymously share documented verifiable evidence to help stamp it out! Well done and keep up the great work!!
You are an incredible team of dedicated, hardworking heroes. Your unwavering commitment, resilience, and passion make an immeasurable difference every single day.
Your efforts don’t go unnoticed; they inspire, uplift, and create lasting impact in ways that words can hardly capture.
Thank you for your determination, your sacrifices, and the heart you put into everything you do.
What Mr Irvine has created here, from just an idea, to become what it is now, 3 million nodes - and counting (I’ve read the OG moaners, why are you moaning about the fact that the protocol actually works?) each node completely unaware of its location, whereabouts, neighbours, encrypted, and I can upload anything I f****ng like (when uploads are active!).
What you have created is an absolute monster. You all deserve a medal.
The team is amazing, including those who have moved on after much hard work. It’s fantastic what you’ve achieved over the past years, and this last year specifically.
I expect you’ve been pushing like mad for a while, and it shows in results. But, of course I hope nobody burns themselves out, and that you’re all looking out for each other in that regard.
On the forum many of us may question some decisions, express frustrations at times, and not see the whole picture, but I hope you know how appreciated your work is.
David, you’ve been an inspiration over the years, and it’s great seeing you back, getting stuck in and pushing things forward in critical areas. Bux, you’ve been instrumental in making the right compromises to finally get this network launched after all these years. Josh, you’ve guided the tech with all of the recent changes, which I’m expect wasn’t always easy, and you’ve stuck with it through many years (though I miss seeing you in the forum!). Jim, your communication and vision has opened up new possibilities of what this network can do to me and many others, I expect inspiring many in the team as well as outside it. Obviously so many others have played a key part too & I won’t try to name everyone who appears in the dev updates, but, together you’ve all produced something amazing!
Hopefully soon you’ll all be able to look on with a fantastic sense of achievement as you see the impact your work is having in the world.
Note, I just learned a new use of the word ‘glazing’.
I salute everyone who dedicated their time, energy, money - life basically to something that may or may not work in the end, just upon an idea.
Still, I believe that emotionally invested people who are naturally unable to zoom out and see everything for what it is more than for what they wish it to be (or for what they fear it might be - in case of those overcome with negativity) unintentionally create echo chambers.
