2014 Launch of MaidSafeCoin Where are my coins?

Okay… I’m looking for some assistance here, and hoping to get there. I was interested in MaidSafe back when I first heard about it in 2014. At that time, I contributed some of my BTC to the initial launch of the SafeCoin, but I never received a wallet, or any information about where my coin was, or how to retrieve it. We are talking life changing amounts here, but I have checked my Wallet on Blockchain.info and I can see the transaction sending my BTC to an address.

How can I track those SafeCoins down??

You can check your balance at https://www.omniwallet.org/ by entering your wallet address.

Your coins were sent to the address that you used to send your bitcoin, so check the sending address as @pioneerbear described.

I’ve done that, and I can the balance, but how do I claim it? I’ve just made an OmiWallet account, but I am curious how to transfer the balance of the address I’m looking up to the wallet I’ve just made.

You need the private key for the BTC address.
