@happybeing

when I published the website I manually changed all the jpg links into awf:// format on the index.

I have a folder with the working site and a folder with the edited one with awf:// as source for pics and files.

was just wondering if that was the correct way to do it or if I was just making my own life difficult ?

normally I would just have a go and see what happens but with the price of nanos these days thought I would ask

Yep. No need to need with awf URLs. Just use paths to files like any regular website.

Yes I would love too. I have couple of website already running. Please let me know how to go about. If you can help I will be delighted as I don’t have much experience with tech

That’s great, I’ll be posting when the network seems ready. The main thing you will need initially is a static website.

Right now awe is only tested and working on Linux. I have a Windows build but haven’t got it working yet, and I need someone with some tech skills to do a build for Mac at some point. But if you have Linux you should be fine once the network is a bit more reliable. I’ll be testing it out again later.

Let me know when you are ready? Thank you

I’m busy this morning but hope to do a new release later or tomorrow.

In the mean time you can try installing 0.4.0 from https://downloads.happybeing.com in case there are any issues doing that.

You can try loading the masterpieces recently published by riddim and aatonnic:

Mac users, we need you!

We need to find someone willing to build on Mac.

I did have a volunteer who was part of the beta but he caught COVID and hasn’t been back for weeks.

I’d be willing to accept a mac book (m1-m3 series 32gb ram minimum - 96gb would be ideal :innocent:) to help you out and do some builds +testing

Best you take @riddim 's offer - I’m going to need the 128Gb version…

I am no programmer but if it’s just a case of installing XCode and following some simple instructions to compile it from your source I can give it a go.

IDK what XCode is so we’re even :+1:

I don’t know exactly what you will need to do, but let’s have a go. I’ll start a topic, please take a look and reply there - and :
