Companies can’t hide investments. That’s fraud.
VC’s don’t have to be legal registered companies.
I very much doubt that. If you are a professional investor in the US or UK you have to declare all your incomings and outgoings.
Even if you do it as an individual you have to declare it at some point for tax.
VC just means venture capitalist. I know how I would go about doing this, so I’m sure many smarter people can figure it out too.
The State wants you to fear it and to believe it’s all knowing and all powerful … but it’s not.
Yes I know that. But if you invest and make profit or loss you have to declare what you have invested in. Many will do that via a company to reduce tax. If you are a non tax resident or living where they don’t tax then you are good. But those living in most western countries are not.
No, you don’t … if you choose to do so, then that’s on you. This is a topic shift, but If you are wanting a legal personal shelter, look into “whole life insurance” shelters. You can invest in what you want and no tax. You then borrow from your whole life plan as you want and again, as it’s a loan, no tax.
Interesting discussion looking at SBF and other fraudsters and analyzing why humanity keeps falling prey to them.
I made a meme from one of Max’s quote’s I liked from this video →

Forgotten in the US as he did not fit the mold. Huge in South Africa Early 1970s. Lost to the world until he was found in Detroit doing demolition. He had no idea how huge he had become as the record industry sold him out and cheated him out of his royalties.
There is a great documentary about him called “Searching for Sugarman” where folk from South Africa go and find him as there were many rumors he had died. A great documentary.
Didn’t know where to put this but a thought provoking speech.
I’m all for cheap clean energy. No need to debate what “clean” means from my perspective as long as it’s cheap.
Unfortunately, moving to nuclear power is the honest game changer and still far too few of the globalist oligarchs appear interested … IMO, because they have another agenda - to keep the masses impoverished and under their thumbs in a neo-feudal order.
Edit:
Global warming fear porn and expensive energy are what the globalist oligarchs seek so they can push this sort of thing:
Which ultimately will be about controlling movement of people … which is neo-serfdom - the main component of neo-feudalism.
Don’t think the people like this idea
cool 15m demo from 1968, I was having a browse through the comment section, and Alan Kay even pops in to answer someone’s question. Lovely stuff.
uh huh - timing.
I was aware of all of that. France has long been a leader in nuclear power … but have they been building a lot more the last decade? I don’t think so.
Even now the likes of Bill Gates are working to build new reactors, but will take years to get going … so there is a period of time here that many (including myself) predicted would have an energy gap and this is the period I suspect that was “allowed” to happen such that the globalists could use it to push their agenda’s forward.
More like governments wanting to skimp on building infrastructure for energy, then they split generation from the distribution so each has to make a profit with energy unnecessarily costing more and government making more profits. I was working in the industry when this stated some 3-4 decades ago
Then sell off retail arm to companies while increasing retail caps to allow retailers to offer discounts.
It was all about making more money for the governments while the government does nothing.
They thought solar was the magic solution to not having to expend capital in new generators. Lack of energy sees governments toppled in favour for the other side of the political coin. This is bad management by the governments thinking energy growth would not have escalated like it has.
Australia is perfectly suited for nuclear energy with large areas of no bio significance and no population with plenty of water. But back in last century governments bowed the knee to environmentalists to not have nuclear on our soils. (except they didn’t tell the environmentalists about the reactors we have that are not for energy generation)
