What do you mean VLC player support?
Any compatible file downloaded from Autonomi can be opened in VLC.
It might be cool if VLC included support to search and stream videos directly from the Autonomi Network. Is that what you mean?

VLC can also stream videos from a remote source given the URL

Yes, VLC can stream over HTTP, which mean AntTP should already enable this.
However, AntTP will currently download a full file, then send it to the client app, at the moment. Streaming was enabled in a prior API version, but hasn’t been reenabled on the live network yet.
Smaller videos should start pretty quickly though and big videos will just download to RAM first, which will take a bit longer.

Yes, streaming directly from Autonomi is what I mean. Just upload all your media and then play them everywhere.

Yeah, you can do that, but technically ‘streaming’ has a few different understandings.
You can certainly do what you’re asking though. From a user experience, there will just be a longer than expected buffer period (as the buffer needed is essentially the whole file…)
