There are/have been at least a couple - @Lisa_Brown for starters and we had a female dev, Natasha? at one point. Think she was from NZ.
Anyhow - as Mao said
“Women hold up half the sky”
As @southside said
“Women will operate half the nodes, some day soon”
Welcome @Lymee , please dont be put off by the whiff of testosterone in here. Looking forward to hearing more from you.
Deepest apologies to @Sotros for missing you out.
This project owes a considerable debt to @Sotros for her part in getting eMAID set up so we are no longer solely dependent on OmniMAID.
We should now bring Burns Night forward a couple of months and have an extra “Toast tae the Lassies”
But as long as it is a contract with oneself I do not see how it would be possible to apply a punishment if it is not fulfilled.
With these conditions the use of the timestamp seems to me a simple declaration of good will but, if not complying with it means an advantage, finally a majority of nodes will not do it.
I don’t see an advantage in giving a price and not honouring it. To the client it is only a guide which if refused they can try again.
To the node, if they don’t accept their own quote they probably lose their chance to be paid when the client tries again. If the price rises enough they may take that chance, but if that’s a rare occurrence the system can work.
