Looking at the bright side, at least it shows both parties share similar thoughts on data.

I wouldn’t say it’s a copy. Although describes in the same set of problems, data integrity and data security are widely recognised issues when it comes to the IoT and there are lots of ideas about how to improve things. The second thing is, it was written a year before…

 good spot! So, more of a case of like minds?

As a beginner, I have couple of questions?
SAFE network is all about being secure. The data is encrypted , shredded and then distributed all across the network. When the user wants to view his data, he would need the encryption key or Password to unlock the data. But what if there is virus on ones personnel computer like keynote virus. Will Safenetwork play a role in eliminating that kind of threat or am I mixing anti Virus S/W role with that of Safenet.

Secondly, has it been decided on how many coins will be given for what space capacity you contribute?

Yes. At this time SAFE is all about the network side and providing the tools and ease of providing the security and anonymity.

Yes.

Firstly you receive rewards (coins) for retrieving data and not for storing it. This provides a way to prove you are actually storing it and will retrieve valid data

Secondly the qty of coins has been decided but not in a way that you may be looking for. It is Dynamic and determined by the network automatically using a formula that uses the amount of available storage on the network

Thanks for the reply Neo. I just watched “The Economics of Safecoin” video on you tube and that cleared things on how safecoins will be distributed.
