I think the jury is still out on if this is a complete and sufficient website. Some basics of the safenet project are still undecided as a result many questions remain.
Better to wait before translation.
The website should be an efficient tool for Maidsafe to introduce all comers of all levels. As far as I can tell some longtime followers find it difficult to grasp the direction.
Well, I’m at it again. I’m glad most of the markup bugs got fixed on https://safenetwork.tech/, but there are still some trivial ones remaining on at least on the FAQ page:

Especially on the FAQ page the default font size looks huge on my regular 24" screen. It has probably been written with phone screens in mind, but the site should really work on a desktop computer as well.

I checked some google trends for terms like Maidsafe or decentralized. Most interest seem to come from China (no surprise here I guess).
So, shouldn’t there be at least a Chinese version of the site available? Lots of other crypto projects have one. Any chinese people here? What do you think?
Shouldn’t cost that much to get it translated, and you reach a lot of extra people. Quick win I think.
Also, I would be really nice to have a link at the top of the frontpage to some latest news update, weekly update is fine as well. So you can immediately see that this project is truly alive

It would be great to have a multilingual website, but it is easy to underestimate the amount of work involved. It’s not just the initial translation, but building the infrastructure to have it run in parallel, adapting differently for the requirements of the target language, and also the ongoing burden of keeping them in sync. Everything just multiplies, and therefore every website update gets slower, or more costly, or both.
So it’s defo on the important to have—highly desirable—wishlist, but not on our current roadmap I’m afraid.

Yes that’s ok. although I would always favour to put the latest news link directly on the homepage. Just for the impatient ones. But yeah this is just a minor thing, don’t waste any resources on it
