We have a few options on the table for @edapa to consider and a number of people that want to be involved.

Would it not be best to get maidsafe to be the sponsor? Work on something like safe disk or another project dirvine has in his mind but is on the wait list currently.

I would actually like to see the community handle this. I think MaidSafe should focus on getting the next Alpha releases out there, and this gives community members that aren’t developers a chance to contribute their time and resources to a project that will help the Network.

Agree for the stuff that will take the time - weekly reporting etc. Maybe reivanen has a point though, it would be good to see if @dirvine has any thoughts about what would be the best thing for them to work on. They might be able to accomplish something really useful that saves the core devs some time if pointed in the right direction.
Agree that this should be community led though, maidsafe have way too much on their plates as it is.

Lets find out more about how @edapa envisions this. So far we have a few of us willing to underpin this project with resources, time and skills including @BIGbtc @Nigel @Jabba and anyone else. For Tufts University to take on building an application for Maidsafe does more than just build an app, it introduces SAFE to many others within the institution in a most efficient manner.
