That’s actually much better than “doing my own research”.
I’ve adjusted the OP, how’s that working?
i want to add two notes to the setup, but don’t want to crowd the content on the wiki…
- When starting dweb serve, you need to export the private key of your funded wallet to the shell environment you’re running in. On Linux and MacOS, you do this by running the following first.
export SECRET_KEY=<private key>
and then launchingdweb serve
.
While you have the private key in your buffer, you can also import the wallet into the ant-cli using
ant wallet import <privatekey>
, you’ll need this setup to upload your avatar image.
- When installing dweb on Ubuntu, you may encounter missing openssl libraries. Do a
apt update
and thenapt install librust-openssl-dev
, and finally restart the dweb install.
I set it to be a Wiki.
I’ll update and try using reveal to avoid crowding.
Thanks!
Anybody using this thing?
No one else has published/shared their ID to follow. The four of us are not holding water cooler talk.
I didn’t think of posting my sighting there. I will now, just to eat the dog food.
I will when I’ve done some other Bank Holiday weekend stuff. Let’s blame the decent weather!
Its pissing down here.
Cant complain though, last few weeks have been lovely.
No coffe and coissants out the back for me this morning though…
