I think we might (and/or should) have a thread “Safe Network in media”, but didn’t find one. Thus I’m posting here the first article I found about the recent stuff. I don’t know about this site previously, or if it is at all significant, but here goes:

I didn’t have time to do more than just very lightly skim through this article, but it seemed pretty decent - except that their view of Maidsafe as thing of the past is clearly outdated. 
One notable project was MaidSafe, which aimed to create a decentralized internet infrastructure using blockchain and other technologies. Their vision was to enable users to store and share data securely and anonymously, without relying on centralized servers. While MaidSafe faced numerous technical challenges and delays, their project demonstrated the growing interest in decentralized content delivery.
