Running nodes causes problems for other uses of home network

I think the problem is, a router that is very good at peer-to-peer (p2p) connectivity, with 100s or 1000s of connections, can be very different from a router good at regular client/server comms.

Tbh, I don’t think many reviews stress the p2p aspect, as it isn’t/wasn’t a concern for most folks. With Autonomi, it obviously makes a big difference to the user experience though.

Yeah, I think that over time we can gather a list of “normal” routers that work better than others. And over an even longer time, if the network becomes a hit, manufacturers will adapt accordingly.

Meanwhile I really hope that there is still room for optimizations on the software, so that these poor routers can do better.
