Does http://test-ipv6.com/ show ipv6 connections successful (ignore all the additional tests, just ipv6 successful or not)

I’ll refrain from adding to the poll untill I get home on pc but surprised that I got supported on my phone nonetheless.

Edit: back home, how accurate is this test @dirvine

Pretty much all phones should support ipv6 these days AFAIK

You have to click the update icon on each for the test to work.

I just did both tests. The first one IPV6 failed, on the second it worked.

So, assuming the second test is more accurate, then wondering if the poll is off by quite a bit as many probably only did the first test failed.

I changed my poll result to working as a result.

Yes, I have updated the poll. If we could use ipv6 it adds a huge amount of things for us, mostly getting rid of NAT issues, which as the nemesis of any p2p network.

Yes for home network as well as phone.

I wonder if NAT issues have been solved well enough by other projects, e.g. https://docs.pears.com/

AFAIK for security reasons home routers tend to have similar restrictions with ipv6 as with ipv4 - to by default firewall incoming Internet traffic from reaching computers with open ports.

I have read many of these over the years, but have not come across one that actually works and is adopted mainstream yet. I would love that question to be answered for sure. NAT traversal is hellish

Maybe it would be good to make a whole new poll? I’m not sure how many has answered on the poll that had flawed test.
