Yep! I came to the same conclusion as well. I wish I had seen this thread, but i was too focused on my site and other things.
Yay! I finally figured out what the problem was!
I had created my first account and chose tonda as my public ID. The launcher froze so I restarted it. When I attempted to log back on the network rejected my credentials several times. I chalked it up to a bug and proceeded to create a whole new new account. I again picked tonda as my public ID. I threw together a little website and tried uploading it, I was told it was successful by the demo app but each time I would be left with no service to manage. I finally got over my laziness and booted up a Debian VM. I logged into the launcher and started the demo app. I attempted to upload the site again, but the same thing happened.
I was pissed and suddenly got the urge to take a shit so I gave in. In the moments walking to the bathroom It dawn on me. Holy crap, the two accounts I created with the same exact public ID must be conflicting with each other! Durrrr!! I then wiped my ass, washed my hands vigorously and returned to my computer. I started the launcher and created a new account with different credentials. I opened the demo app and selected a different public ID. From there I went on to upload my site and after some nail biting.
Bam!!! It finally f@cking worked!!!
Now I’m a happy camper!
Here’s my contribution!

Your solution came an hour before mine. Instead of waking up to play around with a VM, I could’ve just checked this thread. Jeez! Well at least I don’t have to fill out a bug report.
