Concerning the content, nothing new ![]()

That moment you spot a road being layed down after hiking, enjoyably, through the tall grass.
Today’s the day!!!
“We are excited to confirm we’ll be releasing the SAFE Network Roadmap on 10th.” - @dugcampbell via Signal Wow. That would suck.
Oh no, there will be a lynching for missing an anticipated date by a day. This is why roadmaps have been so contentious.
Yeah, he’s totally done.
Let’s hope Dug is moving so fast he is a day ahead of us all.
Time to dip, Dug. Get out while you still can.
Hey @feinberg - are you talking about the Blockfolio Signal notification that was put out last Friday (3rd May)? If so that date’s just a typo. There’s no change to the original plan ![]()
Nice example of the off-by-one error
Yup, that’s the one. Glad to hear it. You dodged a massive bullet, dude.
The noose will have to wait for another day ![]()
Hey, man. Don’t you have some socially linked data or something to be working on?
But the Blockfolio Signal notification of the Roadmap release itself will probably be on the 10th (of may 2019 AD I assume). So if you interpret it like that: no typo.
I don’t ever remember hearing the claim “typo” made.
While a ‘signal’ that is one day old is 100% useless since it’s priced in way ahead … That’s why I (not being a trader myself… So probably like a blind man talking about color) don’t think publishing one day old dev update links on blockfolio is an appropriate way to use this platform @dugcampbell
Ps: more constructive feedback: how would you think about pushing our the signal together with dev updates in the future because that could then be more attractive to blockfolio users?
Having a bit of exposure here and there on these apps is great but I seriously doubt anybody notices it. You can’t trade MAID anywhere. If you’re talking about media exposure that’s an entirely different story.
I was replying to Dug’s post, but I already thought you meant something else than a typo with your ‘That would suck.’.
You’re good, bro. I figured.
Valid point @riddim. The timing tends to be purely down to logistics to be honest. The Dev Update gets pushed out as soon as all the teams have agreed on the content - that’s always at the end of a Thursday. The text for the coin apps obviously has to be pulled together after that point in time, so by default, we settled on it being a task for first thing on a Friday (to avoid the weeks when we’d not be able to get them out on a Thursday night, if people are commuting/at events - plus it gives us the opportunity to get a second bite at the cherry to attract people to visit the forum as they will then see the Dev Update plus all the comments that have been added in that time).
With all these different platforms (conversation came up in relation to Steemit last week as well), much of it is just a case of trying to build efficient content distribution systems so that there’s minimal time spent to make that effort justifiable in terms of returns (as opposed to just pulling back and focusing all out on say just three key platforms). There’s arguments for both approaches though - and we’re definitely open to changing it though if we can fit it in.
tl;dr Thursday evenings tend to be jam-packed for a variety of reasons across the team (not just Dev Update) so for consistency we opted for Friday’s!
