We could, but each member writing up their weeks work is a bit of a distraction to the team when we are trying to make deadlines, so we decided against it - any time distracted from the next testnet version is wasted time, was the view we took. Plus it’s pretty clear what we’re working on, this last couple of weeks it’s been AE, OOM and DBCs, so we didn’t really think there was too much benefit from taking the time to write up & publish an update. Hopefully the short “Update from MaidSafe HQ” messages are enough to keep everyone in the loop.
That was our thoughts anyway and I know it’s been discussed in the forum previously and I think generally it was agreed with.
The obvious non-testnet updates are for the BambooGarden Fund, so we published an update on that last Thursday, but it’s slow moving so no need to do that weekly.
