I came across Pijul just the other day. Looks interesting, and it’s written in Rust

I agree, very interesting. Haven’t looked at it since that discussion, but back then I could see that in my work that for sure would make some things a lot easier.
Would be nice to explore it in more depth, and see just how feasible it could be.
@draw also mentioned that it would perhaps be more suitable (performance-wise) for running in safe network.
