There is no rub. A business like MaidSafe is not set up with the expertise or skill for financial regulations and management. From the CEO to well everyone, there are no skills in that area. Sure we know stuff, but we are not engineers who profess economics as a skill, or virologist either, we are Engineers building a decentralised network that has a token that finds value, not in FIAT, but in data.
Just a quick update, weâre still working on improving the system but for now MAID has been re-enabled for deposits and withdrawals. I know some of you want to get their funds out, and I wouldnât blame them. Just know that the contact weâve had with P2PB2B has been great and work is still being done making this much more user friendly going forward.
Trading and deposit/withdrawals are fully operational. Liquidity and volume are low, which is probably why they disabled the api which cmc and coingecko use.
Initial volumes were pretty good. The exchange stopped MAID deposits and withdrawals for a month or two, which likely scared off most people from an already somewhat sketchy exchange reputation wise. Even though they re-enabled deposits/withdrawals, the damage may have already been done.
yes I traded my MAID for various other alts and ETH and withdrew to Bittrex and bought in again.
Skint right now but if funds permit later and the prices are OK I might have another punt. I liked the MAID/USDT pair
