Friend told me: I canāt even find them on Wikipedia.
I didnāt even notice, but I often go to Wikipedia myself to check if something is āworthā an entry to gauge itās value. So I do understand this is a thing.
Anyone good with words and some free time should consider to volunteer starting a Wikipedia article.
Itās hard. It needs to be
- Factual
- Objective
- Not sounding like a sales pitch
- Sources, sources.
- Multiple authors
I tried writing an article (about something unrelated) a few times in the past. They always got deleted. 
Security advisors and authors on the internet talking about hacks, censorship, DDoS etc. You can send them a tweet asking if they know about MaidSafe and/or tell them how it might prevent these problems in the future.

Spot on - I just noticed this yesterday,.Wikipedia one of the first places Iād check when doing background research on a company. The presence of a well-written Wikipedia page is a trust signal, which could be vital in tipping potential investors into pushing the button. I notice that all the other comparable decentralised networks have an up to date Wikipedia page.

They should have lowered the minimum investment to something like Ā£500. Otherwise small investors like myself are still locked out. Oh well.

Likewise. Maidsafe is an intriguing company and different in all the special ways that count, and I really like, trust and respect the management and the forum too - passionate backing is really important in this sort of venture. Call me tight though, but to me in its current state of development itās more Ā£500-intriguing rather than Ā£1000-intriguing. Ā£1000 is a significant psychological barrier (especially if you have to explain it to your wife) and given the leap of faith required I feel itās pitched a little high. Ā£500 a punt and I might buy two

Iām investing, it says 2ish bitcoins, can I do this in a few transactions if I have to, like ShapeShift? Or does it need to be all in one clean bitcoin transaction to register?
And itās good that you can do your own refund, if that happens, so you donāt need to worry about sending from your private key like in crowdsales
I donāt see them accepting part investing, so I gather you would need the minimum before investing in MAIDSAFE

All the ways that MaidSafe can profit from SAFE are truly amazing, Iām trying to write down all the profit methods I heard in the interview but it made MaidSafe as a company sound like such a great investment for anyone who believes in this technology at all

Remember to do your (photo) ID verification (see near top of topic for details & discussion)
Without that you cannot receive anything back, be it dividends or results of BTC mining or refunds if investment fails to meet minimum.
