I do agree with you. Gleaning bits of info from around the forum, it becomes apparent that the Safe network has already made huge leaps forward, and is further ahead than most people think. We have to work on this message, without setting deadlines that might disapoint impatient people.

Like to see a progression of the size of the SAFE code base. I think it is still viral small which seems so compelling. Maybe a comparison with the size of other relevant code bases.
Its interesting that it attracted lunch with Vint Cerf early on.
SAFE is CRISPr for current net.

Maybe the current status should say “We’ve rebuilt the internet and now we’re making it safer…much safer!!” Gets my attention

For me the conversation with someone might go something like this:
Me: Maid is building the new Internet
Response: Cool…how is it different?
Me: Security and privacy first. No more stolen info or censorship.
Response: Wow… but is this even possible?
Me: Not only is it possible, but the foundation has already been built and tested and the rest is on the way.
Response: Amazing…but how is this done?
Me: Check out this primer…You’ll be amazed.
And so on until they get to when will it be done 
You only have a few seconds to catch somones attention. Once you have it, they’ll ask questions down to the level that they care about.

During a conversation I usually end up saying all of those words myself, and all the other person says is: “…”
