It was like 1989 when I was asked to clean a PC. The virus replicated on any file read/write. Did a virus check and all that did was cause the virus to replicate to every file on the disk. Virus checkers were crap back then. Even talking to Mr McAfee in 1990 and said to him that Wordperfect (& Word) macros could have virus’ in them, to which he replied, no they will not because the macro would not have an avenue to replicate. How times have changed.

Bro I’m far from a expert with these matters, it’s just that when people get in this cryptosphere we should inform them the best we could, that way we keep people in the cryptosphere. Fortunately in this case he only lost a few btc, but maybe the whole event could have been prevented if he knew the security measures you should take.
