for java users would meteor.js be simplest way to create a web app in the future, I think it be easy to interchange monga database with safe database using the json.
Wow! I haven’t checked this thread in a while and just noticed how amazing it is. I can feel that energy I’ve been driven by for the last year. The logos are amazing @m3data the font in the last logo seems perfect to me and excellent balance of color, contrast and curves.
I will hopefully have my page done this week (I just got a small sense into what the core devs have probably felt;)

Thanks Thom! They were just quick iterations…button turned out ok. I can share the psd file @happybeing if people want to play with colour variations, adjust the radius or dimensions etc.

Best wait until the network is ready for the “how-to” in case things change, but it will be quite simple. Just upload your files, register a website name (on SAFEnetwork) and make it public.

I assume you mean javascript here. In which case my answer is maybe: certainly using javascript to integrate an existing framework is something we’re looking into as part of the SAFEpress project, although I can’t speak for meteor.js as I don’t know it. If you’d like to discuss, please join us on the SAFEpress forum.

Anyone got any clue how one would go about PUTting and GETting a JSON object into/from a StructuredData type using JavaScript for a SAFE website?

I’ve just replied on slack with more detail on how it will be done, but at the moment this is not possible as it needs the Launcher service and/or Firefox add-on to have additional API support added.
It is possible in a straight App though, eg written in Rust (and not going via the Launcher JSON), because you can access the API directly there. Just not yet from web/javascript.
