Initial commit for safe_network repository happened on Mar 15, 2023.
Your investment strategy:
Pro: you are long term⌠good idea, looks like you are smarter than 90% of Wall Street.
Con: you still need to pay attention. MAID mooned twice in the past 5 years to over $1. If you would have sold back then, your return would have made any regular real world investment very very happy.
No matter how you slice it MAID has been, and will be soon again, an incredible investment.
We now have stable test-nets, the majority of which do not actually crash, like they did a year ago, but keep chugging along until they decide to take them down.
This is a big deal⌠so choose your next investment strategy wisely; and yet this too is the perfect time to wake up to your long time term investment, just my opinion, cheers

I think making a definitive statement that MAID will be an âincredible investmentâ is rather naively optimistic. Crypto is currently wading in the waters of mediocrity and distrust. Itâs incredibly difficult for any new project to âmoon,â again, as weâve been burned so many times before.
However, I think MAID has maybe the best chance of any project to make that happen because it does have name recognition to a lot of the old school crypto community, and seeing the progress over the past 6 months, I have faith they will release a real, working product. I think it is a useful project that the world desperately needs. Whether the world will see it that way is anyoneâs guess.

Thatâs misleading. We created a new repo and dumped in our SAFE code sans networking as we switched to libp2p. In no way was that starting from scratch. I suspect you already know that though, or perhaps you were making a joke?

I see that it was easier to start from empty repository than to evolve existing code.
Networking is large part of Safe Network.
I know that with every starting from scratch some information is kept from previous iterations - either directly via code fragments or indirectly via updated knowledge of developers.
So I think âstarting from scratchâ classification is not binary âyesâ or ânoâ, but also many shades in between.
I understand what you said and partially agree with it, but I also donât think that I was completely wrong.

(Edit: out of date) Just a heads up; right now thereâs about 65k MAID for sale at 0.000007 on Bittrex just now if you want to buy a chunk without slippage and have BTC available.

Yep somebody (@786mra ?) bit that right off. This could be the biggest volume day for MAID on Bittrex for a long time.
Some still still available at 727 and 748 sats, apart from that its a clear road to 799/800.
