Kinda works on the laptop
will report more as I find out..
If I ssh to the laptop from the PC then run yarn run tauri dev on the laptop ssh terminal then the app shows up on the PC
note PC is “gagarin” laptop is “leonov”
so more poking required…

OK this works as it should on the laptop so the EGL error is specific to my desktop machine and is MY problem not yours.
I made an account and it seems to allocate me a random address. How do I link that to my existing account(s) in Metamask?
There is “Recover existing account”, where you can enter your ETH private key.

Search suggests, that it’s related to proprietary NVidia drivers.
