I do have the private key for the wallet (receiver) is that any good for - What would need to happen is you can prove they were yours. So with your old keys (where you transferred from ) then you can prove that.

If you can prove that transaction and we know they are now dead, then you should still be OK. Keep in mind what I said, it is work, it will cost money and time to get these, but I think you may well be fine. If they are sent to a bc1 address then they are dead/burned

do you want me to pay for the implementation? i dont get it sorry. maybe omni does that work to support bc1 as they wrote in 2020… so if maidsafe succeeds, they might get pressure from broader group of ppl who made same mistake as me.
I checked one of your transaction IDs and I don’t know if this means anything but if you look at this transaction the sendijg address and recieving address are the same address which I believe is the bittrex Omni wallet
I see no mention of your wallet address you mention which is bc1q89y3uyc0tvtgpa06yvky5658mk6utk8pls8w6h
So I think your coins might still be with bittrex but I’m not an expert so if anyone else has some thoughts please feel free to chip in

ye, looks wierd, but i did withdraw to a bc1 adress, maybe the explorer dont support bc1 thus shows the same receiver as sender, i have made a ticket to bittrex but small hopes, when i go to my account it says i have 0 maid.

I have no doubt that you initiated a withdraw to you bc1 address but the receiving address was the bittrex address and the raw transaction JSON never mentions your you bc1 address.
I hope bittrex answers your ticket and it was a good move to keep your transaction id.

If you decode the raw transaction the bc1 address exist. Everything indicates that it is a well-constructed Omni transaction except that the omni network does not pick it up as such when sending to a bc1 address.

Thanks for looking is there any way to look at the raw contents of the address and see if the coins are actually there ?

If the above is a valid bitcoin transaction then the omni tokens will be moved from the sending to the receiving address. The bc1 address is just unable to access them.
Personally I think for maid/emaid → snt best would be to work with a snapshot. It would simplify things with tokens moving around or being sold afterwards etc.
E.g. What if omni comes with an update later on and bc1 becomes accessible? Those kind of problems can be avoided with a one-time snapshot. Also prevents unnecessary long open-ended monitoring of addresses on different chains for snt migration.

As long as the three transactions were not (Omni) successful, because they were sent to a bc1 address, the 5371 Maid was returned to the address of origin.
As mentioned above, the only solution is for Bittrex to resend these amounts to a correct address since it is the one that currently holds them.
In this case I do not see that, at the time of the SNT exchange, anything can be done.
We can try to test and see if sending 1 MAID from an address really is bounced back or not. I personally believe it is not and will be removed from the total available tokens held by the sending address if the bitcoin transaction is accepted as valid (no matter if it supports segwit receiving or not).
I know it’s also possible to craft a transaction that is invalid from the start e.g. you put that you send 1,000,000 MAID from A to B. Where B is some segwit address starting with bc1. But if the original address A did not have that amount to send, omni will say it’s invalid transaction as the inputs and outputs are not correct.
Some experimentation is required to check how they can include everyone holding MAID tokens on their personal address. Anyone who doesn’t personally own the address needs to get control of their tokens by contacting the owner (exchanges) as soon as possible.
With the Omni wallet fee issue sending an Omni coin is not that easy at the moment
I got omnicore where I can put manual transactions using the cli or can also put custom fee or broadcast a transaction multiple times (to overwrite old fees). Just need to obtain some MAID since all of it is converted to eMAID.

Sorry for not being clear I am on a trezor and use the omni-trezor wallet which at present has a fixed fee that will end up with the transaction stuck
The truth of who owns something is dictated by the blockchain.
And Omni’s blockchain says that those 5317 maid are owned by the address 1DUb2YYYbQA1jjaNYzVXLZ7ZioEhLXtbUru.
In fact if we look at the Omni transactions of that address there is no modification on the indicated date (9/5/2023 12:34:55 AM).

So @sundata87 coins are still in the bittrex wallet.
Unfortunately for me my 25 coins I lost are gone for ever as I never kept the transaction Id 
In fact, they confirm it in github. If you send to a bc1 address they change referenceaddress to the sendingaddress.
