What I do not see reasonable is Bitcoin withdrawal fee 0.001 ($60) while tx cost was only 0.0001 ($6).

Indeed unreasonable, and common with other exchanges. However lightning is an option, where Iā€™ve used several times for speedy transaction with zero fee.

Am helping a few people around Europe right now.

The one person I know in the UK I am helping buy has been told by Bitmart UK residence people are restricted.

Come on UK!! What the hell!!

Donā€™t believe so I think Iā€™m on there bottom tier so didnā€™t have KYC.

I might not be 100% on that but I donā€™t remember any hoops to jump through. And I joined after the eMaid announcement.

Hi guys. Whatā€™s the easiest way to get emaid off an exchange into cold storage/paper wallet? Is there an equivalent of bitaddress.org (that way was easy!)

MyEtherWallet.com (MEW) is a way Iā€™ve used before.

You can have MEW operating on an offline computer & sign transactions from there, or I guess you could make a paper wallet, but then the only way to spend is importing the private key.

I expect there are other options, but thatā€™s one Iā€™ve used.

Has anyone had any joy with MEW Wallet to swap eMAID for a different token (ETH, USDC, etc)?

When I attempt to proceed with a swap, nothing happens for me.

Iā€™m testing the process for going from MAID, to eMAID, to something more liquid, to GBP in my bank account.

Maybe I should try uniswap directly, but MEW Wallet looks like it should be easy, but it just isnt working for me.

Id not heard of mew.

With https://app.1inch.io/ you can connect MEW wallet and make a swap.
Uniswap seems that it did not support it.

My MEW wallet seems to be flaky. Doesnt seem to connect at all to mobile browser and then wonā€™t sign correctly for linked laptop browser (using 1inch site)

What wallets do folks use here?

Not tried their wallet yet. Maybe worth a try.

Metamask as it is well known and only for uniswap.
