[How To]: Buy/Move/Store ERC20 eMAID

OK, thanks again!

I was confused, because there is no “Me” or “account” on 1 Inch. I didn’t understand clearly enough, that it interacts directly with the address the coins are in. It also does not show past activity, if the activity has not led to any action, I guess?

For others to know: Up in the right corner is your address information and down there is the history, which was empty for me, because the trade did not happen.

The gas fees were very low, by the way, around 3 to 4 USD.

Hi all,

I haven’t posted in some time, but I am very excited to hear about all of the new developments, it seems like we are getting close!

I have purchased some Emaid on Bitmart, and will look to withdraw them to my Ethereum wallet on Ledger Live once that functionality is enabled by Bitmart. Has anyone else done this (moved Emaid to Ledger Live), and do the tokens show up on Ledger Live? It does say on the website that it is compatible with ERC 20 tokens. I would rather use this wallet as I already have it set up, as opposed to create a new wallet for Emaid. Many thanks.

Hi guys

Whish is the best site to buy emaid on?

Thanks guys!

You have two options UniSwap or BitMart - the difference is that in UniSwap the transaction will be more expensive because it is onchain, but you do not give your personal data. A matter of personal preference.

I recently got some eMaid via my ether wallet ( MEW )
You can trade ETH for eMaid and also store your eMaid in your MEW wallet

And also depends how much you want to buy. The best liquidity is on BitMart exchange.

Everything looks very smooth to be honest. Deposits go through very quick. Withdraws work fast as well. ID verification process was smooth and done within a few minutes. Withdrawal fees are very reasonable, and the network is selectable, which makes it even cheaper. These low withdrawal fees allow for partial transactions (which is what I try to do). sent a percentage of what you want to trade if the entire amount is too big to be comfortable with, make the trade, withdraw and repeat.

The fact that they do not show their reserves might be the only real downside I’ve found, but to me that’s not really an issue as I almost never leave funds on an exchange longer than a day.

Are you writing about crypto withdrawals from a BitMart account to a hardware wallet?

The platform was hacked in 2021, with around $190m worth of assets stolen in an attack that is still somewhat confusing. The platform has promised to reimburse victims for their losses, but it is unclear whether a reimbursement strategy has been implemented. While centralised cryptocurrency exchanges often lose funds in such attacks, the best ones often pay for their customers’ losses out of their own pockets.

Unfortunately, they do not have the best help centre and generally have poor customer reviews. To get fee rates for fiat currency wire transfers and USDT conversions, you will need to provide the third party with your full KYC plus additional other documents and bank statements etc.

Hi, a friend has their omni maid on a paper wallet. Can he import his private key to electrum and then send his maid using the electrum wallet?

Yes but it’s not an easy or well documented process. There’s a post on the forum about it so you might find it using those keywords.

Thanks, I did find something about using a trezor with the electrum wallet, that’s what I did when sending to the burn address for emaid conversion but was not sure if we could also import a private key and then send to the burn address that way. I’ll have another look, alternatively I was looking at the Omni wallet but I understand that has a fixed fee which is too low so the transaction can get stuck. Although I understand ViaBTC | Transaction Accelerator can be used to prevent this

In Electrum you can create transactions manually, sign them and broadcast. Omni wallet does that for you, with Electrum you have to make the script and paste it into the transaction.

I found a few posts, here’s one:

Amazing, eh? It takes a launch announcement and a sexy new discord and suddenly i’m helping some last minute stragglers buy eMaid at Bitmart. Ha!

Apart from the 86 MAID withdrawal fee buying and withdrawing to and Etherium address is working well.

Fully recommend buying eMaid at Bitmart if you can.

86 EMAID? Isn’t it just 45?

It is about same with current gas price if you use Uniswap. The key is wait for weekend
edit: The withdrawal fee is 48 eMAID what shows the exchange now. Seems like changing based on gas price and/or ETH. In a past I had fee 21 eMAID
