lol jk, sorry. I don’t really know, I didn’t accept the W10 upgrade yet.

Waiting for SAFEos, personally :stuck_out_tongue: :stuck_out_tongue: I’m sure it’s just around the corner. Any day now…

The public testnet isn’t available yet, but when it is, there are plans for Windows installers, so it should be very easy.

If you want to install current local-only code, it’ll be a lot more tricky than installing a linux distro, so you probably can’t be bothered (and nor can I).

Welcome to the forum :+1:
There are so many changes going on right now, I’m not surprised it isn’t working. Some months ago we were able to run a local network with 3 Vaults. It’s explained in these topics:

MaidSafe Dev Update 31st August 2015
MaidSafe Dev Update 31st August 2015 - Part II

But after that, some new sprints have started. Some libraries are getting a big refactoring. So I think that’s where the problem is. We will see another Dev-update today or tomorrow. You can ask the Devs (they have “Maidsfafe” in their profile name) for more info at that moment. They’ll know what you can build yourself and what not.

EDIT: Do you use the installers from the links above? I see they’re still there. Don’t know if these still work in combination with Waterfox or Firefox.
