Please follow these instructions to upgrade your nodes to the newest version to ensure the best performance and stability for everyone! Check out the Github Release with changelog details. We’ve identified a potential issue with nodes running version 0.3.10 of the software not starting on macOS. If you encounter this problem, please upgrade to version 0.4.0 of the node using Launchpad version 0.5.9. This should resolve the startup issue.

:compass: Upgrade Notes:

  • Required for upgrade to 0.4.0: Launchpad 0.5.9.
  • If your nodes are already running on 0.3.10 or 0.3.11 with Launchpad 0.5.7, you do not need to reset them. After upgrading, nodes may not start automatically — simply run ctrl+g to manually start them.
  • Adding new nodes may take several minutes due to NAT detection running in the background. The new UI includes a popup indicator for this.

:pushpin: Important Version Notes:

  • Minimum requirement for emissions: Node version 0.3.10. However, we strongly recommend upgrading to the latest versions of both the node and Launchpad to benefit from ongoing fixes and improvements.
  • Nodes on 0.3.10 and above are eligible for emissions, 0.3.11 was a non-essential release and is not mandatory for this purpose.

Maybe mention that they still need to upgrade LP 9.5.7 to 0.5.9
