More at home controlling my chunks? I’m owning a bulletproof datacentre, my friend. And you forget about one thing. When ETH is using SAFE for storing their BC then this will be a huge news event and if not, it will be. So the price gets a push again. So, i DO know when ETH is coming and if so, i’m gonna pull the plugs out of my farming servers.
SAFE is a project which belongs in my datacentre. Simply because of the background of the project. A decentralized internet with its own DNS, domains, storage etc. etc. ETH totally destroys this idea and is NOT welcome on my servers. And I really don’t care what others think about it.
But you’ll will remember my name in the future when ETH ***** their investors like Nicky Boy did with BTC. It is a project to rip off others peoples money and they really don’t care how much money that is, as longs as it will get dumped into their pocket. Just do a research about ETH only on Twitter and you will see early investors of BTC stepped into it. Those people cannot be trusted, because they also ******* BTC while it is trying to get adoption around the world (remember the big dump BEFORE he was sending his message that he called BTC a failed project?).
ETH is already a failed project (security and the bloated blockchain), but gets hyped by big names. but i will tell you the future of ETH. It WILL get forked by a big named company and the ETH coin will not go with it. But not before the old boys dumped their share and laughing at people who they pushed to invest in it. ETH is a nice coin to daytrade with, and yes, i am picking up my share also, but just because of the big volume in it. I totally do not trust the people and companies behind ETH.

While it is still an absolute valid opinion to have, could you please tone down your future posts a bit? While there is nothing about being condescending in the community guidelines, there is a section about profanity. Agree with it or not, but those are rules, so please respect them
And on the topic: Should ethereum decide to host any data on SAFE, there will be a lot more more controversial stuff on the network that you might host. Remember, you won’t know what is stored in the space that you provide and you can’t decide what’s going to be stored. If you’re feeling so strongly about eth, you might want to consider your stance on the whole idea.

I don’t see what i did wrong here. When people are talking positive about ETH then it’s alright, but when someone talks negative about it (while he did his research about it) then he must tone down his voice? Why is that?
Freedom of speech is a right. As you can say to me i have to tone down i can say what i think about something, just like you did. So stop pushing me into a corner, because you don’t like what you read. I didn’t do anything wrong here, except telling the truth which most of you don’t want to see.

So the SAFEnetwork will effectively wipe out the core of your business, unless you build on top of it. Ethereum might face a similar problem with their storage needs.

How about secured email account? When can this be active and what do I get?
If you have access to you own DNS settings of your domain then this can be active within a day. But to be sure I say 2 days because of the DNS settings needs to be replicated with the DNS root servers. You get a fully secured mailbox which protects itself with passwords and keys. You also get 2 USB modules which you can configure with your own USB stick. When activated your mailbox is only accessible with your USB stick.

Yup, that is basically the whole story. I don’t care about the server though. I care what’s on the disks and how it is possible that they could grab it in the first place. So, i use my knowledge and skills (and the law) to prevent that userdata can be captured. That means, the less i know from my customers, the better. All conversations will be secured and encrypted from my side.

Well, all of my services are for everyone’s need. And every person on this world has the right for being totally anonymous on the internet. The real bad boys are not focused at my services after all. But in a different country, sometimes you are a bad boy when you kiss another man, or you get shot point blank when you first got raped by 5 men. And my services are mainly pointed and designed for them instead of the real bad boys.
But what if the bad boys use your services after all?
Simple, if it has something to do with child porn or terrorism, i will do everything in my power to reveal their identity to the local authorities. Don’t get me wrong, privacy IS a huge issue for me, but when you abuse children or bomb people for the love of your god, you are just plain sick in your head. I don’t want that kind of customers in my administration.

I don’t really understand the rivalry or the hate for Eth. I continue to hold some and I think we will see a lot of development there this year. I like Vinay and Vitalik. I think Eth has a lot of potential despite all the technical arguments I’ve heard leveled against it. Sure, there will be some scaling challenges if it does get huge. It might get forked, or just outdone. Whoever declares that they know what will happen is obviously too sure of their own opinion to be trusted.
It’s not healthy to hate anything if you can avoid it imo.
There’s plenty of space for everyone to continue to innovate and try to solve problems isn’t there? We all want a future where lots more problems get solved, so let’s just celebrate and support the developers, innovators and problem solvers who make that possible.
I have plenty of love for all the cool innovations I see. SAFE obviously knocks everything else out of the park, but I don’t think that justifies belittling pretty significant achievements just because bigger and better ones will inevitably outshine them.
SAFE4life, but I’m not ashamed to say I still like Eth and watch it with keen interest.

I was community manager for a poker site, so I spent years moderating forum posts. Funny that I still can’t shake the mod tone.
I know full-well how thankless and time-consuming it is. I don’t think I’d sign up for that again, but I do really appreciate the work they do and am very happy to pitch-in unofficially and cheer-lead from the sidelines

It’s credit to those who have put in the hours to get us to where we are now, at early launch stage and at present there are maybe 9 individuals here with Mod rights, but only 3 or 4 active for whatever reason.
Was only just thinking today, if were going to have centralized moderation…it makes sense to have an actual community manager with experience.
…and then you turn up…it’s a miracle.

Ethereum daps written on safe net would be nice. I am sure a lot of the code to parse and run the daps could be reused in some way. It would be great to be able to port ethereum daps without much modification.
Moreover, safe net could actually provide distributed processing, rather than just decentralized processing. Putting spare CPU cycles to use running user routines would be pretty awesome.

I will do whatever I can to help SAFE make the world a better place for my kids to grow up in, but I’d rather see us develop some cool decentralised and democratised systems to empower the community and enable us to make group decisions more efficiently.

I think that’s the brilliance of Safecoin: no blockchain. When a company or community wants to operate with Safecoin within a blockchain, let them build a private blockchain for that, if they like. But as soon as the Safecoin moves out of said company/community, it becomes a ‘normal’ cash-like coin again. Brilliant, because flexible and serves every need. My 2Safecoins on this.
