Exactly! That’s what I would do if the flyer or a poster behind you looked interesting. Just don’t walk out in front of me or call my phone without me asking you to do so.
I realize some, especially old and lonely people, even like telemarketers. It’s just that I don’t. And the fact that I’ve never beaten up an advertiser is not proof that I like them or that they give me a positive picture of their product. I like the Mexican way much more than I like the Indian way in this respect.
Here is an idea - make more of the test net release. Instead of just a forum post, why not go on chat, maybe voice and/or video too. Capture the moment and whip up enthusiasm at the same time.
Sharing files, sending payments, starting nodes, etc. All so much fun the first time!
Yeah, I get your point. Just wanted to point out that Dimitar’s boots on the ground approach is not outlandish for his part of the world. Can’t be said for all places of course, looks like it’s a definite no no in the UK or other anti free-speech places.
This has nothing to do with free speech or legality. When in Rome, do as the Romans do, and all that. All I’m saying is that I don’t like e-mail spam, my phone ringing and somebody wanting to sell me something, or people forcing me to walk around them or even keep repeating “No, thank you.” all the time.
Now I may be the odd one out living alone on an island with some chickens, but I too exist.
It’s fairly common in the UK.
It was the content in the flyers IMO in the case in that video, even the guy fined says so.
If you don’t upset ppl it won’t be an issue, just need to be respectful.
