I can’t find an answer, do you need a secure VPN to connect to safe network? Or the network is so well made that it doesn’t matter showing your ip until safenetwork?
It is designed so you do not need a VPN. Your IP address is removed after the first connect. XOR addresses is used for that as far as source or destination is concerned.
IP addresses are only used to connect between nodes per hop since tcp/ip and UDP require that to pass through any router (home. ISP, backbone)
So you <–> 1st node <–> 2nd node … last node
1st node knows your XOR and IP addresses
2nd node and later only talk to each other and your IP address is never included.
It is important to note that the first node does not know whether you are retransmitting someone’s message too…
I see simply put as I said, doesn’t matter if someone knows your ip and your encrypted data cause it’s encrypted from the safe browser/app
