I did a quick search on the forum and didn’t find anything about this conference.
Is this something Maidsafe or members of the community might want to be involved in?

Had a look, word-count “Agenda 2018”:
Firefox search has “blockchain = 66” but did look also in an embedded Twitter feed.
And shows a “block chain = 1” as well.
Wikipedia:
A blockchain, originally block chain, is a growing list of records, called blocks, which are linked using cryptography.
I don’t have time to search the forum for the exact place it’s mentioned, but they have knowingly gone to other conferences/meetings before that were blockchain-centric. Only bringing it up as another way to gain exposure to a decentralized project that’s not blockchain.
Thanks @upstate - it’s one that I was aware of but couldn’t really justify the time away at this stage. In terms of conference focus: with unlimited resources, we’d be at all conferences across the industry! (and that’s where the community obviously can really help us out at times by being were we can’t). More focused conferences would be those on decentralised web / Web 3 etc and crypto conferences ideally with a speaking slot etc. Would love to have more time to go to far more
